The Black Suitcase by Shannon Cervone My rating: 3 of 5 stars *Copy provided by Turn the Page Publishing via Netgalley* Eddie, a little boy doesn't like it when his daddy has to travel all the time, and knows that when he see the black suitcase come out that it's time yet again for his dad to so. So in order to stop him thinks hiding it will get him to stay. He doesn't understand why his friends dad doesn't have to go away but his does. This a great story for families who have a parent who has to travel often for work. It helps to explain why some parents have to go away for their jobs. It talks about responsibilities, comparing the child tiding up their toys to the father having to go to away for work. It also explains that they are not leaving them because they want to be away from them but because this what they need to do make life better for them and provide things like a house, food, clothes. Tell No Lies by Julie Compton My rating: 3 of 5 stars I really thought as I was reading Tell No Lies that I wasn't going to enjoy it. And to be honest it took quite a while for me to really get into the story. I wanted to yell and scream at Jack, tell him not to be stupid. Okay so I didn't see that ending coming. I knew something was going to come out of (Show Spoiler) the file on the murder of Jenny's parents back when she was a child, but I never thought it was what is reveled. I thought it was going to say that she was the one who murdered them. Show/hide Looking forward to reading the second book, Keep No Secrets . I don't particularity like Jack and I didn't like Jenny. The Secret by Julie Garwood My rating: 5 of 5 stars **5 amazingly wonderful stars out of 5** I knew from the very first line, that I was going to treasure this book. There are many books that I have loved and cherished, and have put on to my favorites list. But then everyone once and awhile a you stumble up on a book that you want to hug into yourself, this was one of those for me. This was my first Julie Garwood book and I don't think I could have started with a better one. I am looking forward to many more adventures with her. View all my reviews

Gnome on the Range by Jennifer Zane My rating: 4 of 5 stars Going into this book I was thinking okay quick read that will be silly. *Points to cover, glances at title* And well I was correct. The amount of times I laughed and laughed I can't count, very very humors book. I even snorted, yep that's right I snorted and loudly might I add, because there was so many comical parts. "You got it stuck where?" I got a kick out of all the characters, Goldie especially. Oh and well can not leave out Ty, yummy fire man!!! What I didn't see coming was the nice little mystery involved. Jane, a mom of 2 and widow works at an "adult" store, owned by her mother-in-law, Goldie.. Doesn't have a whole lot of excitement going on in her life, until the day of the garage sale, the day her sons buy those two darn garden gnomes. 4 stars, because it did what it promise it would do and gave me a little bit more. Reassigned by Tanjlisa Marie My rating: 4 of 5 stars **Copy given for an honest review** What a fantastic book, I'm sorry I waited so long to read it.(I won't lie I kind of forgot about it sorry Tanjlisa Marie ) I drank this book, I gulped it down, I couldn't get enough of it. Agent Thunder is a huntress with the Fairy Godmother Organization, she hunts down the humans who default on their wishes. All children who are granted a wish by their fairy godmother must repay that wish to another before they turn the age of 32. And if they don't Agent Thunder gets to pay them a little visit to help refresh their memory and she's good at what she does and gets much joy in doing her job. All that changes when she as a run in with a leprechaun named Ciaran. What a unique idea for a story. So refreshing. The Comfort of Lies by Randy Susan Meyers My rating: 4 of 5 stars **First of I would like to thank Atria Books for giving me this copy, via Netgalley** I'm unsure how I felt when reading The Comfort of Lies , was I moved? Did I connect to the characters? Not really. I had certain expectations going into this, I thought when I sat down to read it that maybe I should move the tissue box a little closer, just in case. I didn't need them. I guess all the characters could make someone feel for them, but for most part any low times and sadness is due to their own actions. Everyone in this book makes mistakes, they do things they shouldn't, say and have thoughts they wish could be taken back, but that is life.
