The Underlighters by Michelle Browne My rating: 1 of 5 stars I was given a copy of this for an honest review. I didn't enjoy this book, I'm sorry. The idea was interesting but the execution was not done well. I found myself getting easily bored and distracted when reading it. The characters never interested me in the least. They fell flat and I really could have cared less for them. I really not a fan of saying negative review. Doesn't mean I haven't but just something I don't tend to enjoy. It wasn't for me, I had hoped it would be. I love post apocalyptic stories. And this one seemed like it would be different then the others of the genre that I have read with the crossover elements of scifi and horror. There is potential for this, I will say that. The author has came up with an interesting idea and story. But I think it needs tweaking, something to actually keep the readers attention. So again sorry. View all my reviews

The Affectionate Adversary by Catherine   Palmer My rating: 1 of 5 stars Am I ever glad to be done. I actually thought about DNFING it. At one point I was going to post this: and say so long, then I noticed I had less the hundred pages left and said, fine I'll finish it I've already spent my night reading it and it's getting too late to start something new, might as well not have my book reading night be a total loss. I could not stand these characters. Sarah is too stubborn and set, I wanted to say enough already. Charles, I just wanted to shake and say just walk way, please you fool. The sisters *cringe* I know they are members of society and well they are "above" people, but these people were very snob like. There were to many things that I found annoying, I enjoy Christian romance/fiction but this book was just coming on too strong for me, too in your face. I won't be recommending this book. Amish Stud Arousal by Ruby Matthews My rating: 1 of 5 stars From the moment I opened it and started reading I couldn't keep a straight face. There was much head shaking because this book is just so wrong and bad. It is written like someone was trying way too hard. Lol I don't think I can say anything good about it.
