Amish Stud Arousal by Ruby Matthews My rating: 1 of 5 stars From the moment I opened it and started reading I couldn't keep a straight face. There was much head shaking because this book is just so wrong and bad. It is written like someone was trying way too hard. Lol I don't think I can say anything good about it. Apparently there's a whole Amish Stud Collection, running out to read those, nope. I didn't even want to give it the one star. View all my reviews

Stained Glass Monsters by Andrea K. Höst My rating: 4 of 5 stars 3.5-4 stars This was an interesting story, that was told from to main people, Rennyn and Kendall. Ren is on a quest to stop the Black Queens grand summoning from happening, something her family has been working on for generations. She had hoped to do it without being seen, with only the help from her brother. But things don't go as planed and she get's tangled up with others. Kendall, has the potential to be a mage, but doesn't really think she can do it. I like the story, I'll probably check out the next book. View all my reviews

The Unknown (A Novel) by Linda Pendleton My rating: 1 of 5 stars Well now that's done. 1.5 Stars I don't like to give bad reviews, I REALLY don't. People put their time and energy in the writing of their books, so I don't like to sound mean. I was happy to be finished this book, for me it just never did it. For someone else they might highly enjoy it. The funny thing is I found the concept interesting, but how it was presented to me well, not to lie, bored me. I had to add more: I never connected with the characters, I didn't like them. I'm sorry your kids and others have been kidnapped, lets start looking at each with potential feelings. Lets toss some romance into the book, which just felt awkward and out of place, and stop calling her "kiddo" Sorry all end rant!! View all my reviews

Bait by Annie Nicholas My rating: 4 of 5 stars Connie, hunts vampires, but not in the traditional sense. She doesn't do the actual slaying, she works on a team and her job is bait. She's an attractive little blonde who is sent out to clubs in the search of vampires. Once she makes contact with her target she lures them some place private, and that is when the "action" happens. And by action I mean her team sweeps in takes over. But this time things don't go as planed. I really enjoyed this book, looking forward to reading the next book. View all my reviews

Oh, Cherry Ripe by Claudy Conn My rating: 4 of 5 stars I rather enjoyed this story. Cherry is a strong spirited heroine, I loved the banter and playfulness between both her and Sky. I will admit some things had me laughing when I'm not particularly sure they where meant too. View all my reviews

War Memorial: A Short Story by Elisabeth Grace Foley My rating: 4 of 5 stars A sweet little story that takes place during the battle of Gettysburg and in 1946. The family is enjoying a nice evening together, when all of a sudden the power goes out. With this in the search for some matches they come across a little bullet in there grandmothers old box. Abandoned Angel by Kayden Lee My rating: 4 of 5 stars Where do I begin. This book made me feel so many different emotions. From complete disgust and pure hate to breaking my heart. There were moments when I physically felt ill because of the abuse in this book, I was scared for Angelina and my heart ached for her. At times I would think why am I continuing, this is just too much. But I had to, I was on edge, Kayden Lee held my attention from the very start. The Vampire's Warden by S.J. Wright My rating: 3 of 5 stars I've given this a 3 star because the story is interesting and it has a lot of potential. I was debating 2 because it felt off to me/rushed/unanswered. After I read the bonus of the next book I'll see if I want to read the second, because I hate leaving things unanswered. Broadmoor Revealed: Victorian Crime and the Lunatic Asylum by Mark Stevens My rating: 4 of 5 stars I found this to be very interesting, some of the stories just baffled my mind, some read like I was watching/reading a mystery.
