I Can Has Books?

Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian My rating: 4 of 5 stars Kiss of Midnight was a great book, reminded me of J.R. Ward 's Black Dagger Brotherhood series, which is a complement. I personally found this book to be better then the first BDB. I really enjoyed this story, there was an *eye-roll* moment close to the end that got me thinking, "oh yes the typical such and such scene" but I can over look it, the book was never claiming to be an original in the genre. Lara Adrian 's take on the history of vampires is the twist which gives it its own uniqueness that makes it stand on its own two feet from the others. I had many "oh shit" moments and many surprises where I thought I knew but I didn't, I was close but completely shocked. Do I even need to ask this? Will I be reading the next book? Hell yes! One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost My rating: 5 of 5 stars Book two of Jeaniene Frosts Night Huntress series, does not disappoint. You want action, HOT bedroom scenes, a sexy British vampire, then this book is for you. I still picture Spike as Bones, even if he isn't a peroxide blonde. The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt My rating: 5 of 5 stars 4 1/2 stars. This was my first Elizabeth Hoyt and won't be my last. Over all this book was very funny, and very very hot. I was going to say steamy but that would just be an understatement. Blush factor very high. I enjoyed Anna, she was very witty and fun. I found there little game of pass the book to be rather cute. I was however taken back a little by how vulgar some of the conversations/thoughts were, just because it's not what I'm used to reading in historical romances.
