The Librarian by Logan Belle

Image
The Librarian by Logan Belle My rating: 3 of 5 stars Regina's dream and goal in life was to become a librarian for the New York Public Library. She is quite and keeps to herself, hasn't really date much and in fact is still a virgin. Always putting her studies first when she was growing up. Sebastian, is a rich and handsome photographer. From the moment he see's Regina he wants her, he wants to dominate her. After reading the blurb of this book I had high exceptions of it. I hate to say it but they were not met, not saying I didn't enjoy reading it but it was lacking something. I did love that it was Bettie Page inspired and I love that it was about a quite keeps to herself, librarian. View all my reviews

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith My rating: 4 of 5 stars Gosh what a great little read that was. It would make a wonderful film. I've always said it things happen for a reason. You're running late and get stuck in traffic, why you are held up because there was an accident. If you had been on time, it could you being carried off in an ambulance. So as I just said all things happen for a reason. If everything had went according to plan and Hadley got on her original flight this story would have been very different. View all my reviews

Undercover Professor by December Gephart My rating: 4 of 5 stars "Whatever I can get. Customer service, sales. But I’m really into World of Warcraft—type online gaming. That’s what my article is on. Do you game?" I knew I was going to give this book a little extra attention after I read that line, first thing I thought was "Nice a WOW mention." Player one:: Lucy Benoit, she is very hard working she has a full time job, goes to community collage and plays soccer with the girls on Monday nights. She's been hurt in the past, so because of that she has created rules for any potential male she meets, but what's the point of the rules if there isn't any "zing" Player two: Andy Sullivan, is jobless, staying with his mom, plays video games and doesn't meet ANY of of Lucy's rules. But there is ZING a plenty. Dr. Drew Sullivan, how ever does. But he unfortunately for both of them he can't tell her who he really is, she needs to think he...

Sunny Days for Sam by Jennifer Shirk My rating: 4 of 5 stars Sam, is a single father. His children, Emma and Cole, are his world even if doesn't always put them first. A busy man who has a business to run. Wanting to spend more time with his kids decides to take them to the coast for the summer. He doesn't trust easily, he's been used many times before and thinks that everyone is out for themselves, wanting what he can do for them and not him for himself. Sunny, as cheerful and sweet as her name suggests, will take any job she can to get by and pay off her debt, as well to save to go back to college. After her grandmother got sick, she left school to devote all her time and energy taking care of the one person who was both a mother and father to her. After her death she was left with a huge debt. She doesn't believe in asking for help, even though at a drop of hat she would go out of her way to help others. Still a believer in fairy tales and happily ever after. I fo...

Obsidian (Lux, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Image
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout My rating: 5 of 5 stars Fantastic! I was unsure how I was going to like Daemon because I liked Dawson so much in Shadows and well he wasn't the most pleasant person in it. And yes he's still acting like an asshat but I didn't mind it. It helped in the tension development between him and Katy. Which is always plus for me. As I read this I was literally laughing out loud, some of the digs where just great. So can't wait to read the next book. View all my reviews

The Host (The Host, #1) by Stephenie Meyer

The Host by Stephenie Meyer My rating: 4 of 5 stars I was sooo wary going into this book. I didn't enjoy Meyers' Twilight series, other then the first book. So I was pleasantly surprised as I read this. I will not lie something with the ending bugged me slightly, like it was just tossed on at the last minute. I do hope she writes the next book soon though. View all my reviews
