Never Too Far by Abbi Glines My rating: 4 of 5 stars Read on April 23, 2013 Never Too Far picks up just shortly after Fallen Too Far has left off. And I am so glad I waited to read them closer together. BUT NOW I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL LATE SUMMER FOR BOOK 3!!! Like the last book this one was just as frustrating and just as fantastic. A little more serious, a little more grown up. More secrets, more lies. So many times I thought "please don't be stupid, please don't fuck this up". At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another fantastic book in ever growing fantastic series. Spike ;) I mean Bones is just as perfect as ever. James Marsters is MY Bones. I could gush about   Jeaniene Frost s Night Huntress books. They just get better and better. At Grave's End delivers as promised, it is intense, action packed. HOT! Humor filled, and heartbreaking.  It didn't disappoint. We get to meet some great and not so great figures of importance. Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris My rating: 3 of 5 stars So I go and pick up this book, I'm pumped. So very excited to be getting back to Sookie and Eric ( wipes drool off my chin). So picture if you will, I have the bottle of red open. I am all cozy and set to read. I stop and go "hmmm". Shake it off as the normal okay we are at the start of the book lets recap for those who might not remember. So I take some more sips and continue on. Stopping yet again, I go "hmm, um, yeah". We are hitting somewhere past the 100 mark and I'm getting a little worried, did I pay for a book that is just recap, recap, recap, filler words to take up space, recap?? I"m starting to think I did. Then FINALLY we start to get somewhere, it only took the better part of the book to do so, but at this point I'm happy and looking forward to the action. And next thing I knew it was over and I was left lying here feeling used and very unsatisfied. I don't want to say this...

Chased by Moonlight by Nancy Gideon My rating: 5 of 5 stars Book one was fantastic and book two did not disappoint at all. I couldn't put it down, any chance I got read I took it. We pick up were we left off in CeeCee and Max's relationship. Which is still a rather odd pairing, shifter mob boss and a human cop. I can't wait to see more of their tale unfold. We get more of Max's story in this one, which is rather interesting, and I am soooo looking forward to reading the rest of this series. View all my reviews

Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between by J.A. Saare My rating: 5 of 5 stars Rhiannon is great, she has this take no shit attitude. Which is her mask, her wall so to speak. She has a lot hidden things in her past, she's gone through so much pain. At first I wasn't a fan of how she treated and acted around Disco, but as the story went on things changed, her trust grew. Her lack of trust is understandable based on her past and well because hello vampire. Speaking of Disco, hello new book boyfriend. Loved this book, great start to what I hope will be a fantastic series. And the ending, wow. Soooo can't wait to read the next book. View all my reviews

A Hope Springs Christmas by Patricia Davids My rating: 4 of 5 stars A Hope Springs Christmas is the the seventh book in the Brides of Amish County series. But works very well as a stand alone. Which is what it was for me. Sarah is a widow, and doesn't think she will ever find love again, in fact she doesn't want to. She's afraid to love again, afraid because to here it seems that everyone she loves is taken away from her too soon. Levi, a bachelor, to some believe he is destined to be an 'old boy'. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout My rating: 5 of 5 stars Fantastic! I was unsure how I was going to like Daemon because I liked Dawson so much in Shadows and well he wasn't the most pleasant person in it. And yes he's still acting like an asshat but I didn't mind it. It helped in the tension development between him and Katy. Which is always plus for me. As I read this I was literally laughing out loud, some of the digs where just great. One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost My rating: 5 of 5 stars Book two of Jeaniene Frosts Night Huntress series, does not disappoint. You want action, HOT bedroom scenes, a sexy British vampire, then this book is for you. I still picture Spike as Bones, even if he isn't a peroxide blonde. Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book was so butterflying good, yeah I needed to say that. I spent the past two days reading this book and Slammed , I am emotionally drained, but that's a good thing. I could go on about these books, about its characters, who are some of the best written and interesting characters I have had the pleasure to meet in long time. But I won't because this book, these books you just need to read for yourself. I have read many books in my life and I love many books, but there are only small handful of series/books that have left me feeling like this, like I don't know where to go, what to do next, and that's a good thing. All I can say is wow. I just have to say thank you Collen Hoover for writing these two wonderfully powerful books. View all my reviews

Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder My rating: 4 of 5 stars 4 1/2 stars. I haven't really read many dystopian novels, so this was a nice change for me. When I had first started I was unsure if I was going to like it but as I got further into it I hooked. Trella, the "Queen of the Pipes" as her fellow srubs call her, did not believe that there was something else, something/place better, the gateway as they call it. In her mission to prove it's non-existence or even existence, meets Riley, an upper, and discovers that what she has always believed isn't what it seems. Still some stones uncovered, really looking forward to reading the next book. Definitely a book I can see me re-reading, need to pick up physical copy. View all my reviews

Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning My rating: 4 of 5 stars I will admit was a little wary going into it, I had read a few years ago and I wasn't a huge fan of it so I didn't know what I was going to be getting with this one. I was very impressed. Such a great improvement from the other book by her I had read. Really looking forward to reading the second book in this series. Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas My rating: 5 of 5 stars This was a first time read for this author for me, an no way will it be a last. This book was fantastic, although frustrating at times. I wanted to yell at Amelia and tell her to just say yes gosh darn it. I did adore her though, her character was great. Christopher is a bastard who every time he appeared I hoped he would fall in a well. I really liked Cam, he was very mysterious. And I can't wait to find out more about him and what the connection is between him and Merripen. I know nothing of the next book but I do hope it continues where this one leaves off with Amelia and Cam. View all my reviews
