Review: Naked in Death by J.D. Robb

Naked in Death by J.D. Robb My rating: 4 of 5 stars I have been meaning to start this series for a while now. I have read a few of Nora Roberts books in the past and had liked them, so chances were good that I was going to enjoy her writing under the name J.D Robb. And I was correct. I mean whats not to like, we have a psychological thriller set in the future, yes there is "romantic" moments, well to be honest there was sex and the build up to potential romantic relationship. It's the year 2023, guns have been banned and are illegal, prostitution is a legal and one must register to become a companion. Eve is the primary investigator on what seems to be a "Jack the Ripper" type killer. But there is more then just murder going on, it's not as simple as that. Carrot by Vanita Oelschlager My rating: 3 of 5 stars Read Now copy via NetGalley What drew me to this book was the big orange cat on the cover, and as a lover of cats (especially orange ones) I just had to check it out. But after more thought Carrot starts to think of all the things she would miss if she lived in that world rather then her own. This story is a great for teaching children that as much as some other persons life may seem more interesting and better then theirs, things are not always as they seem. And to think about all that they have, that would be mi...

Cat Comes Too by Hazel Hutchins My rating: 4 of 5 Cupcakes Cat Comes Too by Hazel Hutchins is an adorable little book for smaller children and toddlers. Toddlers will enjoy the story of the little cat as they follow up into the attic and discover all that there is to see and explore. Along with the brightly illustrated pictures the wording is simple and repetitive which is great for little ones starting off reading on their own.
