A View to Die For by Richard Houston My rating: 2 of 5 cupcakes This book was not for me, I love a good mystery. But I did not love this book. Jake's sister, Meg has been accused of murdering her husband Mike, who just happens to be husband number 4. The media have been calling her the Black Widow. On his way to bail her out, he winds up waking up in hospital after he, himself has gotten into an accident. The police believe that both Jake and Meg are involved in the death of Mike. So in order to clear their names, Jake has to do some detective work. I really am not a fan of giving negative reviews but this space here is for me to say what I think. Die for Me: A Novel of the Valentine Killer by Cynthia Eden My rating: 4 of 5 stars Die For Me is a romantic suspense that had me glued to it. With twists and events that keep you thinking everyone is involved. There were a few moments of "Oh I saw that coming" and to times of :O After the initial start, I read it in one sitting. This was my first book by Cynthia Eden and I will definitely check out more of her work. What a first drew me to this book, was the cover. Yes I judged a book by it's cover, YOU ALL DO IT! ;) I have one small teeny tinny negative thing to say, the romantic side of the story. The pairing just didn't do it for me, I can understand the attraction and the sex, that was fine. Everything else just seemed to rushed and unbelievable. But over all this book was great, and it was just the little book break? Filler? I needed. Dream Caster by Najeev Raj Nadarajah My rating: 5 of 5 stars First of all I want to say thank you to Najeev Raj Nadarajah for gifting me a copy of Dream Caster thus giving me the chance to read and review your book, and wow what a book it is. I see big things for Najeev, and this series. I can only hope that more and more people find out about this book and this author. I completely loved it. What can I say it is unique, fantastic, wonderful, amazing. Those are just some of the words I could use when talking about this book. Very well written, with many humors moments, I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. The characters are so likable. Naajeev has put so much thought in not just the main character but his supporting cast as well. He hasn't just written them in for the sake of doing so, they are not flat and could potentially have stories of their own to be told. Dell is definitely a favorite of mine. Abandoned Angel by Kayden Lee My rating: 4 of 5 stars Where do I begin. This book made me feel so many different emotions. From complete disgust and pure hate to breaking my heart. There were moments when I physically felt ill because of the abuse in this book, I was scared for Angelina and my heart ached for her. At times I would think why am I continuing, this is just too much. But I had to, I was on edge, Kayden Lee held my attention from the very start.
