The Shunning by Beverly  Lewis My rating: 3 of 5 stars Katie Lapp always knew there was something different about her, apart from her auburn locks. She was spirited and loved music, she often thought about the colors of dress she has seen on the "English". She didn't want to disobey God, but she didn't really think she was. She tried to be a good daughter, listening to her parents. But there were parts of her always wondered if there was something else other then the Amish ways. After a discovery in  the attic she is left wondering even more who she is and where is that she belongs. She walks out on her wedding day, realizing settling with out these answers would only lead to much regrets and what ifs. At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost My rating: 5 of 5 stars Another fantastic book in ever growing fantastic series. Spike ;) I mean Bones is just as perfect as ever. James Marsters is MY Bones. I could gush about   Jeaniene Frost s Night Huntress books. They just get better and better. At Grave's End delivers as promised, it is intense, action packed. HOT! Humor filled, and heartbreaking.  It didn't disappoint. We get to meet some great and not so great figures of importance. I'm over his "feelings" for Cat, dude needs to realize she is happy with Bones and time to move on. Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris My rating: 3 of 5 stars So I go and pick up this book, I'm pumped. So very excited to be getting back to Sookie and Eric ( wipes drool off my chin). So picture if you will, I have the bottle of red open. I am all cozy and set to read. I stop and go "hmmm". Shake it off as the normal okay we are at the start of the book lets recap for those who might not remember. So I take some more sips and continue on. Stopping yet again, I go "hmm, um, yeah". We are hitting somewhere past the 100 mark and I'm getting a little worried, did I pay for a book that is just recap, recap, recap, filler words to take up space, recap?? I"m starting to think I did. Then FINALLY we start to get somewhere, it only took the better part of the book to do so, but at this point I'm happy and looking forward to the action. And next thing I knew it was over and I was left lying here feeling used and very unsatisfied. I don't want to say this...

The Secret by Julie Garwood My rating: 5 of 5 stars **5 amazingly wonderful stars out of 5** I knew from the very first line, that I was going to treasure this book. There are many books that I have loved and cherished, and have put on to my favorites list. But then everyone once and awhile a you stumble up on a book that you want to hug into yourself, this was one of those for me. This was my first Julie Garwood book and I don't think I could have started with a better one. I am looking forward to many more adventures with her. View all my reviews
