Especially on Valentines Day, that is the one day of the year he goes out and drinks and drinks, hoping to drown away the pain. He is so broken, he thinks he is beyond repair. Lili, a single mother and collage student, has had a hard life. Her mother is dying, her son, 7 is autistic and she feels that she doesn't love her. She's trying her best to take care of both of them while working and going to school. She doesn't really get time for herself, doesn't make time for herself. Where Wildflowers Bloom by Ann Shorey My rating: 3 of 5 stars Where the Wildflowers Bloom was actually a very enjoyable read. I know that sounds as if I was doubting it would be, well to be honest I was going into it kind of unsure as to how much I would like it. I've had some not so happy experiences with some of the last few Christian Fiction novels I've read. All Faith Lindberg has left in the world is her Grandpa and his store,  which he has left her in charge of. And memories, painful memories that are around every corner of Noble Springs. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green My rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh Mr. Green you are quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. I loved these characters, I became attached to them. I love Issac, I love Augustus, I loved what Hazel and him had. I love that it ended how I hoped it would. It was the right way to do it. As I was reading had a feeling how things were going to turn out, and when those things did happen. I bawled. I cried many times reading this book, but laughed much more. I can't properly review this book, like I do others. Where I talk about such and such and something that happened. Some books just leave me without words, even as I type many. How Beauty Met the Beast by Jax Garren My rating: 4 of 5 stars How Beauty Met the Beast, is a retelling of the classic tale. The beast: Hauk, a former American solder who, after a fire in Afghanistan, is horribly scarred. Beauty: Joile, a student, and burlesque dancer. In the beginning of this book there is a very hot sexual encounter, I assumed would set the tone for the rest of this book, I couldn't be more wrong. But really that was fine with me because we were given the chance to watch Hauk and Jolie's friendship develop and a trust build. Both seem to very interested in each other, but neither make a move to the next step. Hauk, thinking his scars and burns so hideous that someone as beautiful as Jolie would never want anything more then friendship. And Jolie, wanting to see him more often, fears that Hauk will only think it's out of pity. Cowboy Heat by Sable Hunter My rating: 3 of 5 stars Aron is the eldest of the McCoy boys, it's been four since he's been with a woman. He's been burned in the past by his ex-wife and he isn't looking for anything serious, in fact he isn't looking at all. Then he see's Libby standing in his kitchen, and he wants her, he wants her really bad. Libby has leukemia, she's been battling it for years, but good news she is now in remission and wants to go out and live her life for however long she has. The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt My rating: 5 of 5 stars 4 1/2 stars. This was my first Elizabeth Hoyt and won't be my last. Over all this book was very funny, and very very hot. I was going to say steamy but that would just be an understatement. Blush factor very high. I enjoyed Anna, she was very witty and fun. I found there little game of pass the book to be rather cute. I was however taken back a little by how vulgar some of the conversations/thoughts were, just because it's not what I'm used to reading in historical romances.
