Taylor is a seventeen year old girl, a cheerleader who likes to play online video games. She is also a seventeen year old girl who is dying from leukemia. One of her biggest concerns is dying a virgin.

Gavin at the age of 25 is very successful video game creator who runs his own company. He is also dying, he has melanoma. He wants to find someone to marry, he wants someone to miss him when he's gone.

Through the cancer mentor program the two meet, the attraction is immediate. But she's only seventeen and time isn't on there side, will both be happy with just friendship?

So what did I think? That's a good question, because I'm unsure how to rate this book.

I laughed, I smiled, and I cried. So one would think okay well then you obviously enjoyed the book. And yes I did like it but, on top of the laughing, smiling and crying I went 'hmmm I'm not to sure about that'

I will tell you that I loved the Firefly mentions and the fact that Mr. Joss Whedon was given a mention. I mean for that alone some people could argue 5 stars no doubt. The geek that I am swooned when seeing it, heck as someone who use to play wow all the time, I was giddy that the pairing played online video games, not only that Gavin created them. Still not enough to give it all the stars though.

So after much thinking I'm going to go with 3.5. Because I enjoyed the story, it triggered the waterworks but it still felt a little to far fetched for me. But this is just my opinion. Someone else might read it and instantly go 5 stars, some reviews I see have done so.

Only way to tell is go buy the book and give it a read see for yourself, make sure you pick up a pack of tissues when you do so.
