A Plain Death (Appleseed Creek Mystery #1)A Plain Death by Amanda Flower

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When Chloe moved to Appleseed Creak to start her new job at the local college she didn't once think she was going to be dropped in to the middle of a murder mystery. The weapon being her car.

Who would ever think that by helping an Amish girl on the side of the road would turn into so much craziness. The Amish are suppose to be a simple people right? Well there is nothing simple about this story.

A Plain Death is a murder mystery with many twist and turns. A potential love story in the making as well.

I enjoy the story, but I never loved it. It was an alright quick read. I felt like there was somethings lacking, and there where too many players involved. But it was enjoyable enough to want to read the next book in the series. I've read a few Amish books now and those more so center around those living with in the church not those who have left the community, so it was interesting to read something from that side.
