The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis

What a delightful story. I rather enjoyed the whole thing. A tale for young and old, although at times while reading I got to thinking, that perhaps this story might be too much for children to read. Meaning, at least at the start, some of the wording might be a little difficult to understand. But I believe that was only a chapter or so I thought it.
I loved Bree, in my head he was very proper sounding horse.

This was the last C.S. Lewis book I read. But, as you said, I wasn't a kid. Would it be difficult for kids today... still, worth the effort. Yes, Bree is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely worth the effort. It is wonderfully written and no matter the age, everyone should read it.
