Lover Awakened by J.R Ward
Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Oh my this book, frustration, frustration, frustration. I wanted to yell at Z, "stop trying to push Bella on to your brother, its you she loves" I understand that he didn't feel good enough for her, he felt ruined and contaminated but it was still he that she loved. I felt so bad for him, such a tragic past it's no wonder he acted the way that he did but I still I wished he would tell her he wanted/needed her. I know he was too scared, which is funny because to everyone else he was the scary one.
Poor Thor, I can't believe Wellise is dead. She was the last person I thought who would be killed, my eyes teared up when she died. Thor new something happened even when he didn't know. I love how the author made him get all funny and dizzy. He felt off, now we know why, the love of his life and his unborn child were no more. :(
I am really enjoying this series. J.R Ward knows how to grab your attention and keep you hoping. She isn't afraid to completely twist and rock her characters worlds, and for that I applaud her. I love writers who aren't afraid to kill off their creations, well when done good that is. And Wellise's death in this was completely unexpected. There is so much potential in this series, people who haven't really been touched much, their characters surface only slightly scratched. I can only see a bright and long future for the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and I am very excited to read the rest.
