Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson

Undead and Unwed (Undead, #1) Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Betsy isn't having a good week from being laid off to getting hit by a car to waking up in the morgue.

It turns out that she's a vampire, and not any ordinary one. She can go into churches, wear crosses, holy water doesn't affect her (well unless you count fits of laughter and sneezes). She can go out in the sun, all the things that normal vampires can't do. Why? because she's prophesied vampire Queen.

I found Undead and Unwed to be very funny in a shake your head "oh dear" sort of way. There where many great lines "Your dead, I can't hear you.."

The over all story was interesting, and I think if it was not written in the style that it was that if would have been just as enjoyable or even more so.

To me it was Sex and the City meets Buffy the vampire Slayer, except with Betsy being a vampire rather then a slayer of vampires.

I think I'll be reading the second book, at some point first i have to pick it up.
