Fade to Blue by Sean Beaudion

Image
Fade to Blue by Sean Beaudoin I can not honestly rate this book. Not at the present time. I just can't. Too much odd for the wee hours of the morning to try and sort my brain around. I decided to read because I couldn't sleep, not realizing I would be finishing it and now I have to think about it. This strange little book. So nope sorry you get no rating from me right now, heck or real review. I, I just can't. View all my reviews

Bossypants by Tina Fey

Bossypants by Tina Fey My rating: 4 of 5 stars Source: Library Format:Audiobook Tina Feys "Bossypants" has been my first experience with audiobooks. Well other than the turn the page at the sound of the ding from childhood ones, and I have to say it was an enjoyable experience. It did help that she narrated her own book. It was great to "read" and get things done heck even just walking around. But anyways the book it's self I found to be entertaining and interesting. View all my reviews

Review: The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon

Image
The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon My rating: 3 of 5 stars The Winter People is the type of book that grabs your attention from the start. Sadly it isn't one that delivers from cover to cover. I was a tad disappointed with the ending. To me it just fell short. Here we have a story that is going strong and then it took a turn, hit a moment that kind of left me thinking 'really that's how you're going to end it' Felt a little typical I guess. An easy way out or the author just couldn't come up with any other way. So I'm going to give it 3.5 stars. Because the story did hold my attention, I just wish the author had to go in a different direction then she had.
